国家自然科学基金 .基金委海外杰出青年基金和科技部重大基础研究前期专项基金.研究领域(研究课题)人工光合作用 .首次实现了金属Ru络合物与Mn络合物的光电子转移,成功地模拟了生物光合作用体系II给体部分的

光诱导 电子转移过程,为人类利用生物工程将太阳能直接转换成燃料指明了方向,因此激起了欧洲及美国和日本等国家人工光合作用研究的新浪潮.

2019年1月,孙立成获得2018年度中华人民共和国国际科学技术合作奖.

国家自然科学基金 /瑞典Wallenberg基金/瑞典国家能源部基金,欧共体TMR基金.从2000年3月起与中国(大连理工大学)建立了科研合作,被大连理工大学聘为特聘教授/博士生导师,并在一年内三次回国讲学/科研,为国内培养博士生及高科技人才,在短期内获中国教育部重点学科基金/科技部专项基金/中国国家自然科学基金等.孙立成教授在人工光合作用研究领域中具国际领先水平.
